Tänään teemasoitto on The Rolling Stones rumpalin, Charlie Wattsin (1941 – 2021) muistolle. Surulliset uutiset hänen poistumisesta joukostamme saimme kuulla tiistaina. Heitin haasteen hieman puolihuolimattomasti ajattelematta miten vaikeaa on löytää biisiä kymmenien albumien joukosta joka toisi esille tämän huippurumpalin taidot. Mahdoton tehtävä, mutta tässä joitain näytteitä:

Today’s theme is in memory of The Rolling Stones’ drummer, Charlie Watts (1941 – 2021). Sad news about him passing reached us on tuesday. I threw the challenge with out thinking about how difficult it would be to find a song out of tens of albums that honor his talent the most. Here are some examples:

Aloitin kuntokuurin ja hyvän sään salliessa yritän näin aluksi kävellä mahdollisimman paljon. Korona ja etätyö ovat myös tuoneet muutaman ylimääräisen kilon vyötärölle, jotka ajattelin heittää pois. Tie on pitkä ja kivinen, mutta tehdäkseni matkasta mielenkiintoista päätin alkaa kuvaamaan kävelyreitin varrelta yksityiskohtia. Näin saa alkunsa uusi kategoria: kävelyreitin varrelta.

I’ve started a fitness program of my own and I’m trying to walk as much as possible when the weather is reasonable. Corona time and remote work is showing on my waist and that’s something to get rid off. To make this walking process more interesting I’m going to take photos along the way and post them under a new category called: along the walkway.
