Saturday Classics – 11032023

Tänään nappasin cd:n sokkona levyhyllystä ajatuksena soittaa mitä vain tuolta kyseiseltä albumilta. No, sieltähän tuli Bruce Springsteenin vuoden 1992 mainio ‘Human Touch‘ -albumi. Päivän biisiksi valikoitui nimikkokappale. Biisi on Springsteenin käsialaa ja taisi olla suositumpi Euroopassa kuin kotimaassaan. Eilen illalla ajatuksissa oli soittaa jotain aivan muuta, ehkä ensi kerralla 🙂

Had a great idea last night what to play today. However it didn’t feel such a great anymore this morning and wondered to my cd collection and randomly picked Bruce Springsteen‘s ‘Human Touch‘ album from the shelf. Today’s song is the title song of the album and it’s written by Springsteen. The album was released at 1992 and the single was probably a bigger hit here in Europe than in the States. May be you’ll hear the song that was originally planned for today some other time 🙂

Pulp menetti tällä viikolla basistinsa Steve Mackeyn. Päivän biisiksi valikoitui bändin vuoden 1992 ’Separations’ albumilta ’Countdown’. 

Pulp  lost theit base player Steve Mackey this week. Today’s song is from Pulp’s 1992 album ’Separations’.
