Viikot vierivät hurjaa vauhtia kohti kevättä ilman auringon säteitä. Kaipaus on jo suuri. Ehkäpä tänä viikonloppuna… olen toiveikas.

Weeks are rolling towards spring time without rays of sun. Missing the sun a lot. May be we’ll see some this coming weekend… I’m hopeful.

Hyvin se maittaa uni lomalaisellekin 🙂 Kerrankin sai sunnuntaina nukkua päikkärit. Levollista!

This holidayer is quite happy about sleeping as well. Long afternoon nap on a Sunday is happiness.

Hibernating / Horrostelua

Tämä nopeasti etenevä talvi on pistänyt tämän tytön talvihorrokseen. Eihän näiden sää-ilmiöiden perässä tahdo pysyä. Viikossa tullut oikein roppakaupalla talvea ja niinhän se kellisti flunssailemaan sängyn pohjalle pariksi viime päiväksi. Kuvassa olevat pötkyleet eivät ole omia tuotoksiani, vaan kuvattu tapaninpäivänä Päijänteen rantamilta. Näitä muuten sitten riittää… 😉

– Hibernating –

This fast moving winter makes me to the hibernation state. All of the sudden temperature dropped down to -27° C for few days, then freezing winds from the east and finally more than 20 cm snow in a day. All this in a weeks time! We need time to adjust.

It’s too cold for my fingers to take photos, so I’ll entertain you with these icicles taken during the Boxing Day and there after. Have to warn you, I’ve got loads of them.
