Oma kotii kullan kallis / Home Sweet Home

Ajelin omaan kotiin kaiken varalta tänään. Toki olen altistanut aivoinfarktipotilaan jo vähintään flunssaan, toivottavasti ei sen kovempaan tautiin. Tämä on painajaismaista ja tätä pelkäsin, että sairastun johonkin. Oma veikkaus on stressin aiheuttama flunssa. Useinhan niin käy että sairastuu stressin pitkittyessä. Viime yönä oireisiin liittyi pahoinvointi ja kuiva yskä. Täytyy aamulla yrittää päästä testeihin jos olo ei ole helpottunut.

Drove to home today just in case. At least I’ve exposed the stroke patience to a cold, lets hope nothing more serious. This is like a nightmare and I’ve been dredind about getting sick. My quess is a stress related cold. It happends so often whwn the stress coninues too long. More symptoms appeared last night, funny feeling in the stomach and dry cough. I’ll try to get tested tomorrow if I’m not feeling any better.

Social distancing – Day 123

Pieni säikähdys tuli kun lämpö nousi illalla hieman, kukku kipeytyi ja päätä on särkenyt. Olo on päivän levon jälkeen huomattavasti parempi ja AntiWir tabletit myös kohentavat oloa. Pidetään sormet ristissä että tämä jää tähän.

Got a small scare because I got little fewerish last night. There are also a headache qand shore throat symptoms. I’ve been resting all day and feeling much better. Those AntiWir capsules help as well. Let’s hope this doesn’t go any further.

Social distancing – Day 121

Illallinen! Keräsin nipun horsman kukintoja ja heitin wokkipannulle vihreiden koristeeksi. No, on minulla vielä matkaa kulinaristiseksi hortoilijaksi.

Dinner! Picked up a punch of Willowherb’s flowers and cooked those with other veggies on wok. Well, there is a quite a learning trip before I’m a wild vegetable expert.

”Nimetön” ympäristötaiteilija oli iskenyt palstalla ja kiinnittänyt kauniin pitsiliinan meidän porttiin. Nyt sisäänkäynti vastaa sisäpuolen pitsiverhoharsoja. Ihanaa!

”Unkonwn” environmental artist surprised me by decorating the vegetable lot’s gate with a lace cloth. Now the entry looks like the rest of the lot with gauzed made of old lace curtains. Nice!

Social distancing – Day 118

Päivät menee horroksessa Muorilla ollessa. En saa oikein nukuttua täällä, vaan yöt menevät unihäiriöiden kanssa kamppaillessa. Heräilen aamuyöstä ilmeisesti odottelemaan milloin kotihoito saapuu aamutoimille. Päiväunista vain haaveilen, kun täällä on nyt touhua ja tohinaa. Niin mukavasti ovat alkaneet kuntoutukset täällä kotona. Tänään kävi peräti kaksi terapeuttia ja hoitajat käyvät nyt kahden hengen tiimissä. Meikäläisen sosiaalinen eristäytyminen alkaa olla menneen talven lumia. Olin kolme päivää pois ja kuntoutumisessa on tapahtunut iso harppaus. Ihania tapahtumia tällaiset! Nukutaan sitten talvella.

I’m having a difficult time to get full night sleep here at Mom’s. I wake up before dawn to wait when the home care arrives to their morning routines with Mom. There are no change to take a nap these days. They’ve started the home recovery process and there’s quite often some kind of therapist here or the nurses. Looks like my social distancing is not possible at a moment as well as I would like it to be. I was gone three days and Mom is doing so much more already. Great news! I’m so happy about it! I’ll sleep in the winter time.

Savon kierroksella iltapäiväkahvit nautittiin Rapion myllyn siltakahvilassa Juvalla.

The weekend turnee of Savo region ended today at Juva and An afternoon coffee was enjoyed at Rapio Mill’s coffee shop.

Sateinen päivä Olavinlinnassa. Losotti oikein urakalla. Piti poiketa Savonlinnalaisessa kaupassa ostamassa kuivat housut ennen paluumatkaa. Onneksi oli tupla-alet!

A rainy day at the Olavinlinna Castle. A hard rain it was. Had to stop at a local clothing store to get dry pants before the return trip. thank goodness for a summer sale!
