Sateenkaarijuoksu / Running with a Rainbow

Raskain sydämin jouduin jättämään Äidin muutamaksi päiväksi kotihoidon huomaan harjoittelemaan arkea. Onneksi siellä on ohjelmaa tiedossa. Kotimatkalla kohtasin pari sateenkaarta, joista tuo alimmainen juoksi auton vieressä jonkun matkaa. Maaginen hetki!

With a heavy heart had to leave Mom for few days in care of the home nurses, to practice ordinary days. Happily there are activities in the coming days. On my way home I was running along with these rainbows. The lower one was moving on my side for a moment. It was magical!

Black and white road trip with a touch of color

Kesäloman ensimmäisenä virallisena päivänä oli autuasta pakata romppeet ja hurauttaa tien päälle. Väkeä siellä meni suuntaan jos toiseen samaan malliin kuin ennen rajoituksia. Viimeksi ajellessani oli varsin hiljaista. Raskasta kalustoa oli paljon liikkeellä. Matkan varrelle sattui pätkä tuoretta asfalttia ja hetken meni ennen kuin tajusin etteivät maalaushommat sulkuviivojen osalta olleet jääneet kesken. Tältä siis näyttää uudet mv-tiet (ei kuvaamista ajaessa….tästä on keskusteltu aiemminkin…):

The official first day of summer holidays called for backing suitcases and getting on the road. There were as much traffic going as before the corona restrictions. Last time on the road was very quiet. Now there were lots of trucks everywhere. A few kilometers of the length was a new asphalt. It took me few moments to realize that the painting job of the road surface markings was not unfinished. The markings are all white from now on. They’ve dropped the yellow to make all roads like in European union’s countries. So, this is what the new bw-roads look like (no photographing while driving… I know):

Väreistä pääsin nauttimaan kesän ensimmäisen sateenkaareen muodossa. Ja oli muuten komea, tuossa se lekotteli vetten päällä. Oli vain sen verran nopea että katosi siinä ajassa kun kävelin tuon pienen niemen kärkeen.

Managed to get a glimpse of the first rainbow of this summer. Beautiful one, staying just above the lake. And it diminished while I walked the short way to the point.
